We had the good fortune of connecting with Faith Womack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Faith, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I saw there was a need in the market and realized I could be the one to fill the need! For me, it was all done through prayer or I would have been too scared. But, at the time there weren’t women online talking about Biblical studies from an academic standpoint, only an emotional-driven one. I stepped in and it challenged and grew me more than I’d ever expect.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is different than many others because I fell into it. There was a need that I felt led to fill. Then it slowly snow-balled into something much bigger than I was prepped for. But that’s how my God works.
As for challenges, I have had to remember all the scary “business” stuff is just a stepping stone. I can ask for help. I don’t have to have all the answers and I definitely don’t have to feel brave to be brave.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I really like Grandscape in the Colony for shopping, dining and entertainment. I love how they have small boutiques as well as dinner, desert, and a coffee. I love to walk and chat there, doing a lot of people watching!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Covenant College prepared me well for ministry with a solid education that helped me think critically and convictedly. The professors there treated me like family and spoke truth even when I didn’t want to hear it.
