Meet Kevin Lewis | US Army (Retired)/Teacher/Realtor/Director Of Lead Generation

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kevin, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“if you make the same choices, keep doing the same things, you will keep creating the same experiences and same emotions” Dr. Joe Dispenza
Since, becoming a realtor in 2020 I’ve adopted personal growth mindset. Listening to my first podcast ever; Brian Buffini’ s, It’s a good Life”, reading over 23 books, losing weight, and transforming myself. People can change if the truly desire to change, however if you don’t change how you think then you will still make the same choices and have the same outcomes. I read “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” last year and it started me on a new way to meditate and facilitate the things I wanted to change in myself. This reinforced my belief that the mind and body are completely trainable. First step is to recognize/observe your thoughts and then start the change. My wife, Rebecca witness my first change over 2 months were I no longer became angry in traffic. I’m now comfortable with being uncomfortable and its helped my business and personal life considerably.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I served over 20 years in the US Army, taught US History/Social Studies, and was a Project Management Professional before finding my current profession in Real Estate. I discovered a lot about myself and that if I was going to be successful I had to change from an introvert to an extrovert with people. My first year was rough however, things began to change once I learned to focus on serving others. This lead to training and leadership opportunities within the office and more clients. Showing up at the office everyday and playing all in lead to participation in the leads program and eventually leading the program for the office. I was honored by the office with their “Eagle Award” and later through our offices success with the leads program participated in a mastermind of top programs lead by Gary Keller & Marc King who I never thought I would ever meet. Additionally, the program was recognized at Keller Williams Family Reunion where I was one of 4 panelist to discuss our procedures and lessons learned, It was never easy. It took a lot of effort from the entire office leadership and staff. Our success came from our team work! No place for an ego. The biggest challenges came with the shift in the market. At the pinnacle we had 5 programs with 56 agents over 2 market centers. The shift drastically changed everything and we had to shift with the market. Closing programs, attempting new innovations, restructuring others to arrive with 3 different programs today in one market center with 20 participating agents.
Overall, being able to listen to the needs of your agents, adapting to current conditions, and fostering a positive mindset with consistent actions have kept agents moving forward in their businesses. “Your business will grow to the extent you do!” KW Bold
Currently, I’m going outside my comfort zone to grow my real estate business through social media. Its been a real challenge since I’ve never preferred pictures or making videos. Additionally, I’ve teamed up with some fantastic agents to create a residential development company. Our focus is exemplary service at every step of the way from the investor, builder, vendor, customer, clients, and community.
