We had the good fortune of connecting with Hardik Chodavadia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hardik, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work-life balance was always something I aimed for, but during the first few years after we opened, it was nonexistent as I spent 12-hour days at the office. This grind took a toll—not just on me, but on my family, especially my wife. I continued this pace even after we had kids, until something had to give. I realized I needed work-life harmony; while perfect balance might not be possible, I could still give each part of my life the dedicated and present time it deserved.

What should our readers know about your business?
At Enamel Dentistry, we believe that genuine connections are the cornerstone of exceptional dental care. Our mission is to empower our patients to take charge of their health by building relationships founded on trust and understanding. This approach sets us apart, making each visit more than just a dental appointment—it becomes an opportunity for meaningful interaction and personal growth.

The journey to create such an environment has been both challenging and transformative. It has required us to grow profoundly as individuals, pushing us to become better versions of ourselves in every aspect. Along the way, our weaknesses have been magnified, compelling us to confront and overcome them. While the path hasn’t been easy, these challenges have strengthened our resolve to focus on what we do best: delivering high-quality experiences rooted in genuine connection.

We started with a simple yet powerful idea—to create a place where both patients and our team love to be. Although we’re far from perfect and have encountered our fair share of bumps along the road where we were far from living up to this, this vision remains our unwavering north star. By staying true to this guiding principle, we are confident that we will continue to grow and succeed, providing exceptional care that truly makes a difference in the lives of our patients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting the Dallas-Fort Worth area for a week, I’d craft an itinerary filled with nostalgia and excitement. We’d start at the Omni Theater in Fort Worth to rekindle childhood wonder, followed by a pizza tour beginning with our longtime favorite, Joe’s Pizza in Southlake, and a nostalgic stop at Cici’s in The Colony. Royal Thai is a must for some authentic cuisine, and we’d spend an afternoon at Klyde Warren Park soaking in the city vibes. Catching a Mavericks game is non-negotiable for the electrifying atmosphere. We’d dine at Urban Tadka for a modern Indian experience and make sure to visit Terilli’s for their delicious food and live music. These spots showcase some of the most fun, interesting, and exciting places that make DFW special.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents, my brother, my Wife, my Kids, my partners Devish Patel, and Ashish Singhal.
