We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamari McClish and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamari, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Jamari McClish was born respectively swagadelic from the womb.
Randomly aware of the constant change of life and it’s challenges – he adapted the love for performing for an audience at the age of six.

J MACC wrote his own rhymes and performed for his school talent show in Lancaster Texas at age 10. Song was Titled “God’s Secret.”

His Father saw talent in him and took him to the studio by the time he was 12. By the first 30 days J MACC had already recorded 4 songs in which wrote himself. He has set himself a goal and he’s going after it” !! Songs Titled “Baby Girl” and “Chasin A Milli”  and definatley “Poppin” are just a few songs that may spark your interest.

He has definitely learned about the power of manifesting his future and believes the sky is the limit. Hoping to inspire other youth to work hard on their passions and avoid the number one killer of success which is procrastination.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Something about me that is different from all the others is that I’m being myself. I will never let anyone make me someone that I’m not. In these days, what you see a lot is artists giving false information about their lives just so they can seem cool, but that doesn’t fly with me! By being myself, at just 14 years old, I have 400,000 total YouTube views, over 150,000 Spotify streams, and a following of over 10,000. Even though that’s nowhere near close to where I want to be, it’s better than some others my age. Although I’m not there yet, I feel like any one of these days can be my breakthrough. It wasn’t easy to get to where I am now, and I know it’s going to be harder to get to the top, but I’m ready! So far, I’ve learned that procrastination is the number one killer of success, and to say what I mean and mean what I say! On the acting side, I’ve acted in a Polo G video titled “Barely Holdin On” and a Nike basketball commercial for my favorite NBA Player of all time, Kobe Bean Bryant! We shot the commercial in Mexico and I had an amazing time. I saw myself on national television for the first time, unexpectedly, during the Lakers vs. Celtics game, and I cried tears of happiness! That is definitely something I am most proud of! I want the world to know that I’m a star! Because I know that I’m a star, but the world doesn’t. I’m very excited about this upcoming year of 2024, and I have a great feeling that this is my breakthrough year!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Epic Central!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Someone who I want to give a shoutout to is my dad. Without my dad everything I do wouldn’t be possible. He pushed me hard to my goals everyday, making sure that i’m productive and not wasting a second. He helps me with whatever i need and teaches me valuable lessons such as, how procrastination is the #1 killer of success. Although he has a ton of other things to do, such as running a business , he still chooses to give me his valuable time to help me out.And i want him to know i’m very thankful! Shout out to you dad!!
