We had the good fortune of connecting with Corey Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Corey, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Nowadays, it’s practically impossible to resist the charm and appeal of social media. However, a critical factor in achieving success is having your own business. The COVID-19 pandemic served as a wake-up call, reminding us that nothing is guaranteed and everything can be lost instantly if we are not ready. My business partners and I brainstormed and explored various industries that could generate profits regardless of the circumstances. Interestingly, while the world was in lockdown, janitorial businesses offering disinfecting services experienced a significant profit surge. Fortunately, we had already been saving money as we explored business opportunities, and with the guidance of mentors from a similar industry, we hit the ground running. — We created DACT Way

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
It is remarkable to transform an unprofitable idea into a thriving business generating wealth. The satisfaction of having the support and love of those who matter to you, as well as the opportunity to connect with individuals from different walks of life who contribute to the success of your venture, is truly unique. While it may sound cliché, having a team of dedicated individuals who prioritize attention to detail and strive to provide exceptional service is crucial. The positive feedback from satisfied customers further validates the quality of your services. At Dact Way, we take pride in offering a wide range of residential and commercial cleaning services tailored to the specific needs of businesses in the DFW area. Throughout our journey, we have learned that success requires a supportive community and mentors who believe in your abilities and work ethic. As a minority-owned company, we hope to inspire others by demonstrating that their dreams are attainable. Building a solid support system is essential for achieving long-term success.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There should be more time in a day to fully acknowledge the individuals who played a crucial role in paving the path for Dact Way’s success. Firstly, recognition should be given to the company’s owners, namely Trenton Robinson, Arsenio Glen, Darius Singleton, and Corey Jones. Despite facing numerous challenges, we prioritized our faith and maintained unwavering dedication to our work, even during slow business periods. However, it is essential to emphasize that without Anthony Reasno, Dact Way would not exist today. A close family friend and mentor, he provided a comprehensive blueprint for establishing the business, sourcing equipment and implementing business strategies to give us a competitive edge. I have always been immensely grateful for his invaluable support. Additionally, Terry Brittian and Milton Quinn, the owners of Alpha & Omega Industries, played a pivotal role in encouraging us to think innovatively and are primarily responsible for Dact Way’s current growth. As the COVID-19 pandemic gradually subsided, the demand for disinfecting cleaning services diminished. Terry and Milton introduced the idea of venturing into the construction industry and offering post-construction clean-up services. These two accomplished entrepreneurs not only instilled hope in us but also provided invaluable guidance, attentively addressing our numerous inquiries. Their continued support remains a genuine blessing for Dact Way, and we are only beginning our journey.
