We had the good fortune of connecting with Dontay Dixon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dontay, how do you think about risk?
Apostle Joshua Selman, a notorious Apostle from Nigeria, mentioned once in a sermon, “The way Christians should spell Faith in the physical realm is R.I.S.K.”

As a Christian brand we walk by Faith not by sight. How we chose what events to be a vendor at, the way we decide on our newest design and its release, even working towards our bigger plans and goals… ALL of these processes are RISKS.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
God and family is how I got here. .
It was not easy it was a process of continuously overcoming obstacles within myself to bring back my fire and passion by listening to different mentors and seeking God. I overcame by meditating on the Word of God. If I know anything I know Gods Word is True. Also the strong support of my wife and business partner.

Along the way I’ve learned that all things are possible. And more than anything I want people to know that God is real.

Our brand is a shirt company… and with something as simple as a Tshirt we share with a dying World that His light still shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not nor will it ever overcome it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For breakfast I would take them to Our Place in Burleson TX. It has the best whole grain pancakes in the world. Next I would take them for lunch at Babes Chicken because you can’t beat their unlimited sides.

Somewhere along the way I would take them to SixFlags because my favorite ride ever is the Riddler.

Last but definitely not least I would take them to Word of Peace International Ministry in Grand Prairie TX to meet my church family. I would want them to experience a night of prayer and deliverance because that is how I got here and I would be remissed not to pass along what God has blessed me with. Prayer is how I got here and it’s How I will remain.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family, my business, my life would be nothing without God first and foremost.

Secondly a very special shout-out to our Spiritual Father Apostle Frank Manu who has taken us under his wing and showed us the real true unfiltered Love of God. His guidance and correction have made me and my family better in every way.
