We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasha Todd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tasha, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’m a full time healthcare worker. During Covid I looked for ways to decompress and baking became a passion. At first, I started just making cakes for parties that I attended. I got so many compliments that it pushed me towards opening my own cottage bakery. I took a vote on names for my business on Facebook and then just went with the one my mom picked, which is, Love Bundts

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Love Bundts is a cottage bakery that is owned and operated by a full time healthcare worker.

We creatively come up with different Bundt cake recipes and also do custom Bundts also. We use fresh farm eggs and organic Irish butter and organic extracts in all cakes.

We’re new and just started in April of 2023. It’s a hard venture as I’m fully funding my business adventure and there’s definitely been some leaps and hurdles.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would probably take her around to the farmers market. Down to downtown Dallas to check out some monuments. Then over to grapevine to ride the train and hit up some local wineries. We would def have Trinity River paddle boarding at panther island.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My friends, they’ve supported my dream all this way.. and my healthcare team for always being there to sample new cake ideas.
