Meet Bev Moser | Publicist and Artist Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bev Moser owner of B! and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bev, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Details, consistency, trust and listening all combined are some of the main ingredients to being successful. Paying close attention to the details provided to you and knowing what might be missing or not needed for the particular project. Being consistent with the how, when and why you are doing it shows to both your clients and those who are interacting with your company. Trust in knowing the task you took on will be done on time, with professionalism and that you will deliver as promised. Listening is probably one of the biggest and hardest factors in the sense that not all clients and those we work with are good at communicating, so we often times have to ask the right questions and get clarification to be able to provide the best service on our end.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
B! Noticed Public Relations and Management primarily works with the music industry, but we also represent other business entities, authors, sports figures and more. Each client is unique with dreams and goals that are different than others, so we create a plan that is tailored for them. The path that led to opening the doors and hanging a shingle with my business name above them was not the traditional path in college. My path started with the love of music, leading to a role in radio as an on-air personality, which led me to share my talents as a photographer which opened doors in the music industry introducing me to access to meet the right people, observe them and learn from the best in the business. My choice to open my own company was not necessarily planned out and a goal, but the opportunity arose and I dared to take the leap encouraged by others I had worked with, Was it easy? No! How did I over-come obstacles? I asked a lot of questions and did a lot of research and took everything one day at a time.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Nashville is an ever-changing city. When I moved here twenty-plus years ago, it was not as huge as a tourist attraction as it is today. There are so many things for every age to do here, so it depends on who is visiting on the itinerary of the week. Not everyone comes to listen to music, and there is music everywhere. Downtown Broadway has every kind of performer and live music you can imagine. The Grand Ole Opry is always on my list of places to enjoy the sounds of Nashville. As you can imagine, there is food for every palate too, and I prefer those not listed on the the “go to” lists, but rather the smaller privately owned places that serve the home-cooked feel, those on the outskirts of town or in the sub-burbs. You want to get a true taste, go see all the murals in the city and you will get a tour of the city as well as the artwork! It is amazing and beautiful! We also have so many museums that are home to incredible history – the TN State Museum, The Country Music Hall of Fame, The Glen Campell Museum, Johnny Cash Museum, Parthenon and War Memorial and many more! Something for everyone here!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My whole music industry circle is responsible for the support, encouragement and guidance. The recognition of an individual or would be hard to do as so many people were influential in my choice to land where I have. It all started so long ago and my journey was not calculated or planned out, it just evolved into what it is now.
