We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Manns and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrea, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My motivation for starting my own business stems from an unwavering desire to use my passion and ideas to give benefit to an appointed group of people and children. My thought process behind this drive is rooted in a deep sense of divine purpose along with the freedom to pursue every one of my goals and what I foresee ahead of me. Otherwise, having my own business serves as the only avenue I completely feel comfortable conveying my creativity.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As complex as this can be when you have many of things on the horizon; to keep it simple.. I am a Real Estate Professional and Entrepreneur. I service the Dallas-Fort Worth Market – not to exclude my representation in Houston, TX. My passion for the industry is nonidentical to others, owing to the fact that I am raised in a family of brokers and investors gaining my very first job as admin at our then brokerage. I have a very strong willed mother who lead me to the lake. I made the decision to be a leader in this industry as a teen and that is what sets me apart because I was sure about my decision and I followed through. In comparison, I perform in my business and connect with my clients the same way with surety and persistence.
I feel like I am one of the ones that decided to take the hardest route. It has not come easy AT ALL showing up full-time in my business/career. There were many tower moments (more than most), an unbelievable number of nay-sayers, and oddly, being misunderstood in my darkness while still being observed in my light. Overcoming these challenges took a lot of prayer, stillness, and releasing of emotions also known as human tears. Yet… I’m tickled! The heaviest act that caused me the most resistance yet my strongest and most advised, is separation with no explanation. Of course, only when needed to press.
Making decisions is like climbing a steep mountain. It requires you to carefully plan every step you take and make difficult choices along the way. Just as a mountain climber must decide which path to take and which equipment to use, you must weigh your options and choose the best course of action when making tough decisions. And just like the climber who must push through fatigue and fear to reach the summit, you must have the courage to face your challenges and preserve through tough times to achieve your goals.
I am honored to celebrate my clients’ accomplishments over dinner and bring positivity into their lives. Seeing my clients achieve financial freedom and assisting my first-time home buyers brings me an immense joy and satisfaction. I know that they have been elevated into a new level in life and now in a position to gain equity.
My story is more than real and my marathon continues…Hidden in plain sight…I know that I am different. I would want the world to know that I AM genuinely me. My brand is being fashioned with evolution. Catch me on any good day and you’ll find comfort in my presence. Sometimes you have to stay down to keep the World up if you have the capacity. I love silence…. a lot can be accomplished there
I’d also would want the World to know that I’ve heard and understood that at the highest level of business the model is equity. This knowledge was passed along by a great friend to many and leader in my hometown. Another thing that I would want the world to know is; we all have the power of what is called “free will”. When you pay attention, you will see that it can seem as if others may have less restriction when it comes to their own free will. There is a reason for that. When you awake in the awareness in which you begin to perceive this, make upright your decisions and make good with your intention. Be big on reciprocation.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First stop we’d be dropping our bags off at one of my favorite hotels. I enjoy the spa like experience and luxe stays at The Statler, The Joule Dallas, Hotel Crescent Court or Hotel Zaza. DFW Metroplex has so much to offer. Our cities are the best, we have DALLAS Proper, Frisco and The Star Entertainment District, Arlington Entertainment District, PGA District, Prosper, Rockwall, Cedar Hill, Lakeridge, and Forney…I am proud to be here in Texas; the abundance is never ending. For more fun, I’d definitely just go directly to my social media and seek some thrill from @Fortworthlovelist @DallasLoveList or @Dallassocialbutterfly. As the woman I am, my whimsical spirit brings a delightful and enchanting quality to any moment.
Other than that, I am a lady who loves a consistent feel of vacation. I’ll tell you a couple of other things that guest or friends of mine I host will not miss out on; is watching our Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers secure wins at home. It’s hands down the best fun and we are looking forward to them both earning the rings and title this season. Secretly, I’d take my loved ones to Choctaw because it’s my safe haven..
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, myself… Shoutout to my Nana (whose blessings have carried me), my Coach J.L. Harris and Inner Circle. Shoutout to Mr. Brad who made a sacrifice and vouched for me to receive the micro grant that covered my Real Estate Education, it still has spendable value after 8 years, thanks for hearing and believing in me champ! Shoutout J Deaf Merritt, a helping pal. Shoutout my team who pushes from behind my veil. I fellowship at The Potters House of Dallas and above all the Book of Psalms.
