We had the good fortune of connecting with Damondray Christle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Damondray, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When it comes to taking risk i am definitely a risk taker. Perfect Example i made my First Movie Called First Love.. I had a vision and i just went with it , i wasnt sure how everything was going to turn out but, i knew that i wanted to create that particular film for sure. Now remind you this film is based in the 70″s right. I never lived in that time frame but, im an old soul so i feel like i have watched enough old school shows to create. I was like ok so how will i get this and that and what about the attire but, i also had faith. I made some phone calls and everything was beginning to come together because people saw the vision with me. Definetily was a risk because i also had to cast people who i believed could bring these characters to life which i believe they did! You never know to you try but, by the way i plan on having a premiere for First Love sometime soon this year. I will give a date soon.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So for me i just be myself and i enjoy being myself. I am in my own lane and I am not trying to collide into anyone else’s lane because we all are driving individually if that makes sense to you. I will say i am excited that i have finished completing my film First Love which is based in the 70s. I want to give a S/O to the cast and crew anybody who helped create this film in any way i really appreciate you! We made magic . So this journey haven’t been super hard i just believe you must have a passion for what you do. People at times look for over night success and that is not how it works. Now can it happen yes it can for sure but, you have to put in work 9/10. I will say keep pushing it may get hard but, nothing worth having is easy right? So keep going you got this for anyone who reads this you got this. I was stating a little bit earlier that i have finished creating my First movie but, more to come. This story First Love i believe can mend people back together and have people make them long distance phone calls to ask for forgiveness. This film just reminds me of how i feel things use to be but, having a premiere this year so once them tickets on sale go ahead in purchase one, the whole family can watch it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
You know i always say i want to go surfing like i really do no lie! But, i have never been before so maybe if they like water we can go do some indoor surfing. Maybe go hiking but, we would have to go early in the morning because it’s summer and it gets super hot out there! Downtown have some nice spots i just dislike the traffic but, that’s another subject for another day. I desire to go to some musuems its been a while since i have been. So to sum it all up downtown and adventures the whole week and some basketball for sure.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes, i want to give a shout out to anyone who supports me in any shape,form or fashion thank you kindly! Your support doesnt go unnoticed. Thank you to anyone who have ever poured wisdom and knowledge into me it means alot.. I appreciate my mother for her encouraging words thank you for your presence in my life.
