We had the good fortune of connecting with Ankana Haldar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ankana, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My passion for art has grown as a strong part of my identity in the last decade. I always wanted to connect people through my creativity. Starting my own business was the only key to open the door where I could connect the world by exhibiting and selling my art. I never thought my creativity could be turned to a business, instead a hobby which I passionate for! My entrepreneur journey started when I first sold my painting so surprisingly through social media. Eventually I set up my own home studio in Dallas. Working on big canvases and playing with colors has always been exciting!

I have created almost thousands paintings for people’s home and office! Starting a creative business is a constant learning process. I am learning and will keep exploring new techniques every single day, It’s never ending!! It’s an incredible journey of self evolution through creativity.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Ankana Haldar is a contemporary artist living and working in Dallas, Tx. She has always been expressing her thoughts through her creativity. Her greatest source of inspiration is the elements and colors from nature and life. She also loves to express her creative thinking through different medium and textures on canvas.

Her abstract arts are tuned on various emotions! She believes in concurring negativity by using bright colors and lots of vibrant mediums in her painting. Her motivation to leading her audience to a path with full of light and energy!!

I couldn’t stop crying when I got to know that my painting has been selected by HomeGoods.

Passion and dedication always been my strong side which helps me to stay strong and get motivated. Today I feel proud to be called a woman entrepreneur.
