Meet Solomon Savoy Jr. | CEO/Founder | Realtor | Author | Certified Life Coach | YouTuber | Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Solomon Savoy Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Solomon, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
We must make more time for the finer things in life. The finer things in life for each person are different, of course. Some love to travel, go out on the town, shop for expensive items, and read magazines or books in their spare time. The list of things to do in life can go on and on if we sit and ask many people. I love to spend time with family and get to learn more about Yahweh.
My balance has changed over time due to a change in my focus. When I was no longer focused on money or success, I could begin to see things. By the Grace of God, I can tell you that money does not play a significant focus in my life right now, but the opportunities I am given to speak on Yahweh and what he has done for me. I can say that the older I have gotten, the more responsible, reasonable, and understanding I have become of my situation and other people’s situations.
To have an excellent work-life balance, you must know who, what and where. Who would be “who you are when no one is looking”? When there are no cameras or people around, who are you? What is “what are you trying to accomplish” in this life, or what do you want to be remembered for? The where is where you want to end up eternally. Some people believe in Heaven and Hell, and some people don’t.
I believe in Heaven and hell, which is why I have made the choices I have in recent years. His master said, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master Matthew 25:21. I want to make sure I hear these words when it is all said and done.
What should our readers know about your business?
Starting a business is never easy, but if you do what you love, it helps a lot. Every week, I am excited to go live or talk to a client to help them work through issues. Seeing people open up about things that have troubled them is excellent. What sets me apart from others is my sheer will and determination to make it and my faith. We all are determined, but some people lack focus or patience.
I am proud of being in business for almost two years and still growing. People are coming around to the healing after narcissist abuse teachings that I have been doing. I give all credit to God because none of this would be possible without him. YouTube has given me a great platform to teach people how to heal after narcissistic abuse.
I offer life coaching services, training, and free videos on YouTube. I want to make sure that no one must go through this kind of drama ever again. As a realtor®, I hope to help first-time home buyers, veterans, and people looking to sell their homes. What can I say? I am a man of many talents.
I am trying my best to get more people to learn about narcissism. I believe people learn about narcissistic abuse daily after realizing what they have been through. Social media has given me a way to reach more people. Putting on workshops about the effects of abuse, childhood trauma, and even real estate are all beneficial.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There is so much to do in Houston, Texas, and so much to see. Coming to Houston, you have to go to the Galleria Mall downtown. There is so much shopping to do if that’s your thing but just walking around the Galleria Mall is an event. That same day I recommend going to the museum there is so much to learn. The Houston Zoo is also great for seeing different animals and meeting great people.
I recommend trying out some of the local cuisines too. Pearn & Vine represents elegance from the customer service, ambiance, and food. Gloria is another place in the Katy area to check out. Walk On’s is a Louisiana-based food place with an incredible menu.
The water wall is a unique experience where people go to take photos. Several selfie photo booths around Houston and surrounding areas are also popular destinations. Pappadeaux’s is another area restaurant worth trying, especially if you enjoy good food and ambiance. One week is not enough time to see all Houston’s offers.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It is hard to give one person credit for where I am today. I will say that without Yahweh’s guidance through this life, I do not know where I would be. If I were to start naming people, I would be here all day going back to elementary school. I can say my mom and cousins are too many to mention. I want to thank all the people that have given me advice (good advice) throughout my life.
I can’t go without mentioning my wife, Shannon, and all she has taught me these last few years. Being a husband is not all about marriage’s ups but the downs and how you get up after being knocked down. Some people do not believe you learn anything when you are down and out. I say you know much more about yourself when you are down because you learn how to fight.
I would also love to thank the YouTube community for their support. People support me every week for any video I put out. Again, there are too many people to thank within the YouTube community. I am excited about the growth I have seen in people in the community. Dealing with any form of abuse is daunting, so it is enormous for anyone to still be in their right mind.
