We had the good fortune of connecting with Charde Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Charde, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
Letting go of the people and the things I was so used too and most comfortable with. I wanted to be different that what I surrounded myself with but was the “normal” for me. So if it didn’t serve my growth of my dreams and the life I wanted I cut it out.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

You have to have faith in you and believe that your hard work will one day pay off.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My late sister. before she passed we were supposed to go into the hair industry together, she taught me everything she was learning in school at home until I was a junior in high school and was able to attend cosmetology school part time. Doing hair with her made me fall lor in love with hair than I was before.
