We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandi Lavinder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandi, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
I was a single mother of 3 & a victim of Domestic Violence

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud and excited about the fact that I get to create an experience to each and every individual that comes into my presence as i present my craft to them with a smile at all times regardless of the situation. It was not easy even getting to the point that I am now because of minor setbacks and distractions in my past. The main lesson that I’ve learned along my journey is to never give up, stay focused and stay consistent. I want the world to know that my creativity and the craft that I’ve learned along the way is that with being an entrepreneur and having to do everything by yourself although it can be a struggle along the way trying to distribute every task to yourself can be a bit overwhelming but having a team and building that loyalty and respect of each individual that you work with that it helps your business become more successful and helps you as a person to remain humble on where you started, how you got to where you are and where your going on your journey of success

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First I will start out at my own home with some of the things that I like to do and prepare for others. And then we will probably do some thing that is interactive and social. So a couple of places that I would say I would take them would be probably the ATT discovery area in Dallas, junk punch in Fort Worth, Sundance Square in Fort Worth, chicken and pickle in Grand Prairie, red claw seafood in Arlington
