We had the good fortune of connecting with Angeline Pedrosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angeline, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Originally from New York City, born and raised, I was instantly immersed in a vibrant and intense city life. New York City is known for many things especially its multicultural communities, amazing food from all over the world and of course impeccable luxury and style. As a native New Yorker, luxury, style, fashion & beauty instantly captivated me.
As a professional graphic & fine artist, I was naturally able to pick up makeup artistry easily. After many years working in the corporate world I decided to take it on full-time.
As a New Yorker, I always look at makeup and hairstyling as part of a puzzle. The entire look is the complete puzzle. I don’t focus on just the makeup, but rather how it will go with the clients face shape, features, hairstyle, wardrobe and the occasion they are attending.
I provide truly luxury services and use amazing luxury and professional grade products so that my clients always look amazing for several hours without retouching. It’s one of the aspects of my services that my clients rave and leave reviews on. I’m always growing and learning new techniques and product formulations so that each service is better than my last. It’s the New Yorker in me that drives me to have a great work ethic and drive to succeed.
Working as both an editorial and bridal makeup and hair artist in both New York City and Massachusetts, I also try to think of how the entire look will photograph when I create looks for my clients. It’s one of the things I feel sets me apart from most others in my industry. I think differently and approach my craft differently as well.
My signature makeup style for my clients is radiant skin and defined eyes for a beautiful glamorous look that’s gorgeous and not over the top, heavy or dry looking! I’m known as the glow pro since I leave skin looking radiant and almost like it contains a real life photo filter.
I credit my once hometown of New York City, my strong editorial and art background for my ability to see beyond just a makeup look. I create a unique style and experience for my clients so they look and feel their absolute best on and off camera. The smile and joy on my clients face at the end of my services is truly why I absolutely love what I do!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d definitely show them all the major areas that makes DFW unique, from places like bishop arts, design district in Dallas, the the stockyards in ft worth. I love historical and artistic places.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank Jesus and God almighty first and foremost. My wonderful parents, Lourdes & Rafael for their love and support. My siblings and family. My amazing mentors along the way, Alejandra Kough & Paige Anderson. My wonderful friends and colleagues that provide mutual support, help & guidance. Success is truly only possible because of those who help build us along the way!
