Meet Javonna White | I go by Cree8 and I’m a videographer/photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Javonna White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Javonna, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk is like a gamble that’s how I look at it you either take it or you don’t go for it or don’t. I’ve never really been a big risk take until now maybe because I’m definitely just putting myself out there more now. I remember getting a job and on like day two I’m calling off,no call no show because I’m trying to be on set with Ashanti with a videographer who I’ve been following and been inspired by for awhile now. Without risk I’d be nowhere and I’m trying to be everywhere. Everywhere you look marks CREE8!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a creative. Dancing,djing, photography,videography, drawing,making music,writing poetry are the reason why I go by Cree8. I’ve always had a lot of talent and not to sure what lane to go in or what to do with it but I’m focused as a videographer. Where it’ll take me i don’t know but I’m continuing on this journey. In this chapter I’ve decided not to hold back if I’m gifted in an area I’m putting that gift to work. I’m still learning but the first lesson I’ll say I learned is not to sleep on yourself just put your art out because you never really know what opportunities you passing up on when you don’t. BirdzEyeCree8tions I came up with that being big inspired by Niko Khale at the time “I spread my wings and fly” “they don’t want you to see from a birds eye view” you know umm not everybody wanna see you win,everybody don’t want you being great and a lack of folk on ya side,lacking support from those who you want it from most can make you feel like they don’t wanna see you win. Also seeing from a birds eye view allows you to see everything and I sees all. Cree8 Yo Shot do you ,be you and stay true to who you are.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Man I’m not going to lie I’m a big homebody don’t do yo much going out so I’d most likely have to call another friend to find out what some good places to hit up might be.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I thank God cause he deserves all the credit first of all cause he holds the pen and Cody Turner who is owner of stroke of genius media and Turner gang because I wouldn’t even be apart of this had it not been for him and I also just wanna give a big shoutout to all my supporters;friends and family that’s been pushing me on this journey.
