Hi Shawn, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my own business was not immediate. It took a lot of time and planning. It even seemed unfeasible at first. After working many years at shops, dealers, and independent mechanic companies. I got to see how customers were treated firsthand. I felt that I could do something different, so I conceived the idea and began educating myself on what was needed to start my endeavor.

I wanted to create something you don’t see often, something that would bring back trust and ethics to the auto repair industry. I wanted to bring top-quality work at a reasonable price with far more convenience. I wanted to let customers know that they didn’t have to worry about blindsided repair costs or poor customer service. My many years in the industry showed me that there is so much to improve on and much more value to give. I hope to improve the industry standard and bring peace of mind to anyone needing our services.

What should our readers know about your business?
Xtreme Mobile Repair was conceived with the idea to change the way the auto repair industry operates. We are excited to offer top-quality professional services with more acceptable prices and convenience to a broader range of people. We bring auto repair to the customer, without disrupting their day, all while focusing on delivering a 5-star customer experience. Since covid, we also offer contactless repair and payment as an option to anyone.

It has been challenging getting to this point, with many ups and downs. Putting everything together from company formation to logistics as well as many long days and nights has also been an undertaking.
Utilizing today’s technology, I was able to build and put systems in place to streamline operations. This has allowed me to focus on other aspects of the business.

I have learned many things along the way like hard work, dedication, as well as what I believe customers need. The most rewarding was improving my patience and learning how I could truly help people. There is still so much more growth and development ahead for me. My goal is to never stop learning and developing as a person or company.

Our primary objective is to help people by making these services more accessible and convenient to the average person. People have had enough hardship the last few years, auto repair shouldn’t be another one.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Spending a week around DFW there are definitely a few spots to visit.

Strolling through Deep Ellum is always fun. There’s never a dull moment here. You will see all kinds of talented artists and musicians as you walk through the streets.
Another must-visit is Free Play. The old-school arcade games are super fun, the food is really good, and the available bar is a plus.
I always enjoy a trip to the House of Blues to catch a great show. They never miss when finding amazing bands worth jamming to.
Cool Thursdays at the Arboretum is an unforgettable experience with the beautiful scenery and live music.
I also highly recommend the Galaxy drive-in movie theater in Ennis. It’s a bit outside the DFW, but you can never go wrong here. The movie selections are top-notch, and you don’t even have to leave your car.

There are so many cool places to eat and hang out around DFW, these are just a few of my favorites.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shout out to my mother for raising me to believe I can accomplish anything I set my mind on. My family and friends for supporting me throughout my journey. They’ve always been there for me to lean on in my times of need. My circle never has a lack of love. I’d also like to shout out to my better half for motivating me and pushing me to be the best version of myself, even when I wanted to give up.
Finally, I’d like to accredit all the hardships and doubters I faced throughout life. All of these were the building blocks that helped me build my work ethic, ability to persevere, and determination to succeed.
