Hi Kisha, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
Other than working for myself, the single most important decision I made to continue to grind is not stopping after losing EVERYTHING!!! After losing my mom, my grandmother, and my uncle within 32 days I found myself giving up and when you are an entrepreneur, not an option. LIFE HAPPENS!!! You must learn how to fight and keep going in the process. Always remember sometimes you must lose it all to gain YOUR all!!!

What should our readers know about your business?
Southern Belle Productions is a unique Production company that caters to the community by acknowledging the local business owner and entertainers by celebrating their success with a red-carpet event.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the new areas and I would take them to downtown Dallas to see the beautiful scenery. Then we would drive to the hotel in Rockwall over the water and enjoy the sun.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The main support system I had was Joyce Simmons (my grandmother). I loss her last year and my life and my grind is much harder, but I will never give. I have to make her proud!! I also dedicate to my mom WANDA GIPSON and dad Marvin Hill both in Heaven and my uncle Antwone Simmons.
