What’s one thing about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?

I would say just how much love and time goes into each product and how expensive handmade items are to make and vintage items are to restore. A lot of customers and outsiders don’t understand why handmade and vintage items cost more than something you would get from a big box retailer. Read more>>
Not necessarily just my industry, but entrepreneurship as a whole. Support and self care are more important than anything else you can do for your business. A strong network of supporters, the people who you can vent to and bounce ideas off of, the ones you can go cry to without hearing, ” go get a “real” job”, is the best thing for any person building a strong business.
