One axiom that I have heard often, and have only recently come to question, is the idea to “trust the process”. Rather than trusting in the process, I believe that there is more value to be found in putting trust in yourself. In all aspects of life, there is little that we can control, and in a sense that is a beautiful and poignant part of life. But, when it comes to pursuing a passion or following a path, I think you have to put faith in yourself above all else. Following this mindset has given me greater self-awareness and allowed me to confront change more proactively. And I think there is something to be said about trusting yourself to take initiative even in the most uncertain circumstances. Read more>>
