As long as can remember I always wanted to be a musician. First I wanted to play drums but living in Cuba my family couldn’t buy me a drum set, so I began playing the guitar at the age of 10. Then around 15 years old, I began writing and singing my own songs. I performed in different places around my home city Santa Clara as a young singer-songwriter. Then I moved to Miami. My balance has changed over time depending on personal and professional objectives, and the dynamics of being a single mom of two young adults; as one is in college and my other son is nonverbal and has a diagnosis of Autism. I still prioritize self care.
