The most important lesson my business has taught me is to never accept defeat. The most important lesson I learned in my business has been to never internalize failure or setbacks. I learned that not getting the results I expected was simply great feedback. I should have used that information to evaluate, what went well, areas of improvement, and pivoted the business. In the past, I did not always do that. I took the failure personally and thought I was not good enough or no one wanted what I had to offer. But… now I know what “failure” means its feedback and that I needed to pivot the business.
