Never give up. It’s advice that is thrown around daily – but is it always right? We asked some folks we admire about their thoughts around how to know when to give up and when to keep trying

I believe each person has a grace on their life to do something great. Something only they can do. The first step is to get a vision. What is your vision for your life? Where do you want to be in 5 years, 10 years, 15 years? There is a proverb in the Bible, (Proverbs 29:18) that states that if you don’t have a vision, you cast off restraint. What this basically means is that you’ve lost your press in life; you fall into de-press-ion. The fail safe way to know if you should keep going or give up is by measuring your efforts, your task at hand, against the vision for your life. Is it in alignment? Is it within the boundaries of what you’ve been gifted to do? Is it something that will help you fulfill the vision in your heart? Don’t ever give up because something is hard. Measure your efforts against your vision and either make adjustments or keep pressing on. Whatever you do, move forward in faith. The faithful and persistent always prevail. Read more>>
