Hi Ylonda, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Oshyn Holistics was born from my own journey with autoimmune challenges—transforming natural ingredients into sympathetic blends that soothe, nurture, and heal. I wanted to create more than skincare; I wanted to bottle courage, self-love, and healing. What began as natural remedies to manage my own struggles blossomed into golden goddess products that empower and remind everyone that self-love is the greatest luxury.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Oshyn Holistics is more than a skincare brand—it’s a movement of courage, care, and crown-worthy self-love. What sets us apart is the heart behind every product: each blend is handmade, intentional, and created with a functional purpose in mind. I’m most proud that what once started as personal remedies has blossomed into luxury products that soothe, heal, and empower others.
The road hasn’t been easy—balancing health, family, and entrepreneurship comes with hurdles—but I’ve learned that every challenge can be transformed into purpose when you lead with love and resilience. Today, Oshyn Holistics stands as proof that self-love is not just a practice, it’s the greatest luxury. I want the world to know that when you choose my brand, you’re not just buying a product—you’re embracing a lifestyle of healing, empowerment, and intentional beauty..

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit, I’d roll out a week of adventure, relaxation, and golden goddess vibes right here in Arlington. We’d kick things off with thrills at Six Flags Over Texas and then dive into the energy of the home of the Cowboy”s , AT&T Stadium—whether there’s live music, a concert, monster trucks, WWE, or a ballgame, there’s always excitement happening.

We’d savor flavors from around the world—hot pot and mochi donuts at Asian Times Square, Caribbean oxtails at Jamaica Gates, plus classic steakhouses and seafood boils to balance it out, I’d invite her into an Essential Experience—where we’d create her own signature scent and make a set of products, a ritual of self-love over good food and laughter.

Wellness would be a must, so we’d flow at Club Pilates, indulge in a 90-minute skeletal and lymphatic massage at Elite Ortho Bodyworks (with my Oshyn Holistics pain cream, of course), and craft Waist Beads as a symbol of beauty, empowerment, and intention. We’d close the nights singing our hearts out at karaoke, celebrating friendship and life with joy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My journey has never been a solo one, and I’m forever grateful for the tribe that lifts me. First, my four daughters—Sierra, Nicole, Jade, and Victoria—who inspire me daily with their love and support. To the DFW Women’s Club, where I proudly serve as President, thank you for the community and sisterhood that keep me rooted in purpose. I honor Ashlie Waggoner for nominating me and for her consistent encouragement, employment, and friendship. Nina Roloff of Elite Ortho Bodyworks, who shares my pain cream with every massage client, My family, friends, and especially my customers—you are the heartbeat of Oshyn Holistics.
