We had the good fortune of connecting with Vonetta Watson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vonetta, what matters most to you?
“If it’s not exceptional, it’s not acceptable!” This mantra is ingrained into every aspect of our business model. Customers are, without a doubt, for Techgem Educational Technologies, the most valuable aspect of our company. Our tagline reads, “Technology Inspired; People Driven.” and we stand on this; people drive our services and business as a whole. Without our clients/customers, we could not survive. At the center of every service we offer is our commitment to customer focus. Understanding and valuing our customer’s needs and wants are essential elements that allow us to view our services from the customer’s perspective.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Techgem Educational Technologies provides on-site and virtual software training solutions that are customizable, hands-on, high-energy, interactive, blended learning environments for individuals, small groups, corporate, or conference settings. Our goal is to come alongside our clients and train them in new knowledge-based skills or reinforce their current skillsets. We use Immersive Learning Experiences and Constructivist teaching tailored to multiple learning intelligence and learning styles to foster a learning community. We also have services that extend to coaching, consulting, mentoring, and certification.

Since opening our doors in 2009, we’ve helped countless individuals & companies achieve their career and personal goals. We are committed to providing excellent education, training, and resources so that our clients will thrive in today’s competitive world, with flexible program options and excellent instruction. Guidance, Inspiration & Support is our mantra. At Techgem Educational Technologies, clients learn from industry professionals thoroughly invested in their entire learning process.

We are a mother and daughter team. A unique team is bringing chemistry like no other! Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Customer focus and service were planted very early in my life. My family lineages are rich with health care providers, educators, law enforcement, military, and entrepreneurs. These examples instilled in me an understanding of the value of people, service, and commitment to my clients.

My strongest influencers are my mother and grandmother: my mother, a retired registered nurse and community health worker who served in various medical professions. At every turn, customer service remained her main focus, always going that extra mile without pause. My grandmother was a hairstylist in some of the most prominent areas of Dallas, never wavering in her quality of service. What I learned were the possibilities of giving high-quality customer-focused services and maintaining your business’s success.
