We had the good fortune of connecting with Valentine Ehonwa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Valentine, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
My business has taught me to be Patient, Enthusiastic & that every challenges faced is only preparing you for something greater. And my career has taught me to not only understand my purpose but to achieve it.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Well I own an IT Consulting Firm in the Dallas Forthworth area and we’ve been in business for a few years, serving many of the industries highly and successful businesses. What sets me apart from my peers in this industry is that I consider myself a great communicator and I demonstrate Strength, Creativity and a Savvy Business Acumen to achieve my business goals both small & large. I’m most proud of the milestone I have achieved and I’m excited to see what the future has in store for my firm. It took a few failed attempts to get to the position I am today which was very discouraging, but My Purpose, my Drive, my Tenacity and my WHY are what helped motivate me to push harder to overcome adversities because there’s always something just beyond that scary place. So no matter the struggles, the adversities, the No’s, the disappointments, Always stay true to yourself and believe in your own ability to succeed. My brand was established on Faith, Drive and tenacity and my story was motivated by my WHY. Goals allow you to control the direction of change in your favor, that’s why I NEVER let good enough be good enough.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well for starters I’ll definitely take them to the Dallas Art District Museum, we can visit the Klyde Warren Park, we would go to the monkey bar, definitely stay at the virgin hotels Dallas, we would hang out at lounge 31, get some good food at Nick & Sam’s steakhouse, have coffee at The Henry (Dallas), also hang out at Nobu (Dallas), And a list of other interesting places.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I will like to thank my Mother, My Siblings, My colleagues & staff members & my Friends for believing in me and my dreams….. Great books that has inspired me thus far are ” Awaken the Giant Within” by Tony Robins…”The Gift of Imperfection” by Brene Brown……”Start with WHY” by Simon Sinek….”GRIT” by Angela Duckworth. this are just a few of the books that have inspired me to be a better version of myself.
