We had the good fortune of connecting with TwilaB Goode and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi TwilaB, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
My business evolved from my work of erotic poetry. I wanted to expand my brand and decided to create a line of lingerie and other erotic gifts all the while never loosing my desire to write. My purpose is to let women know it is ok to be comfortable in their skin and enjoy what they like sexually.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am just getting started on this journey of having my own business and embracing being an entrepreneur. Therefore, I find myself being productive and busy juggling day to day duties for my business. I am learning to be patient and realize that challenges can occur at any given moment and I need to be prepared to handle them. I have learned the importance of creating a schedule, staying organized, and planning my day accordingly. It can seem overwhelming at times working my business and being a mother to two children, but I love what I do and am grateful. Between writing poetry, performing when I can,and modeling there is never a dull moment.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would have brunch at Mash’d in downtown Ft. Worth then go dancing that night at Aldeez Caribbean Restaurant. Later in the week go and explore downtown Dallas and the Bishop Arts area. While in Bishop Arts go and smoke cigars at Cigar Art. We would also go to Klyde Warren Park.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout Charles”SOSO City”Gadebo, 44 Visuals for bringing my art to life in visual form. Special shoutout to Charles King for giving me the chance on to showcase my talents on the radio. I also want to give a shoutout to closest friends who have always supported me.
