We had the good fortune of connecting with Trevoy Pointer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trevoy, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
When I can see myself improving at least 1% better a day, when I see other people accomplishing their goals, when I see my son continue to mature into a kid, building a solid foundation for the future; these things make me happy.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Currently I do a few things; During the hours of 9-5, I am a loan officer.

I essentially help people who want become homeowners get their finances in place and consult them on how to get the best terms.

Outside of the 9-5, the other hours goes to my life insurance business. My business helps people create wealth immediately leveraging life insurance.

I do a lot of educating for both and I really love it. Any time I can give out advice that can help the next person make a better decision for themselves and their family, that makes me happy.

Having a good impact on people drives me a lot.

There has been nothing easy about the journey to get in this situation. Absolutely nothing easy about it. To this day it isn’t easy but there’s a reason I am doing everything that I do. It’s all intentional.

I got here today by following a certain formula, a well intentional path that took me years to develop. I have worked with mentors, studied a a lot of successful people, invested in self development; I feel like I am carving a sculpture on a daily basis.

What I want the world to know about my brand and story? If you are intentional, patient, flexible and willing to take action about what you want, there’s a way to make it happen.

Lastly, overcoming challenges is part of the game. That’s a mindset you just have to have in order to survive in today’s world, in my opinion.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well lately there hasn’t been many places to go with what’s going on in the world.

In Dallas, there are so many places to go.

Recently, I was in Frisco near the Star; it’s where the Dallas Cowboys HQ are located.

I’d recommend that area, there’s a ton of places to check out and a nice area too.

Eating in Dallas, you’ve got plenty of choices. I’d say, check out any hole-in-the-wall Greek restaurant and you can’t go wrong.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My son – I am super compelled to make sure my son has options, resources and just a simply life of quality.

I simply just want him to enjoy life exactly how he wants to.
