We had the good fortune of connecting with Touché the Podcast and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Touché, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Where do we begin?! There are many factors that we feel have contributed to our success, and we definitely can’t take all the credit ourselves. First and foremost, we’re authentically and organically friends who enjoy having real, open, and honest conversations about life. The business partnership comes after that. Our podcast is tailored to people in their late 20’s, which we feel is an untapped market. This allows us to bring a unique perspective to our listeners because so many people feel they’re in this “in between” phase or have been at some point.

We also owe a big portion of our success to our friends and family for supporting us unconditionally and giving us feedback when needed. We feel the happiest when spending time with our loved ones, which is how Touché the Podcast was born. This platform allows us to share our personal stories with the people we love most, discuss topics that are important to the people around us, and connect with a diverse audience base. We wanted to create a safe space for people to smile, laugh, banter and more. Touché the Podcast allows us to connect with people on all levels and flex our creative muscle.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We run a podcast called Touché the Podcast where we explore the world of pop culture, food, music, and more. With our witty banter and lighthearted personalities, we keep listeners entertained and engaged. If you’re looking for a great way to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings, Touché the Podcast is the perfect listen.

The biggest lesson we’ve learned is when you have an idea, go for it and see what happens. This started as an idea between two friends and we committed to it. Remove “no” from your vocabulary and see where life takes you. Also, not every topic is going to land with everyone, and you have to be ok with that. It’s impossible to tailor your contact perfectly to everyone, so in the end, do what makes you happy. Accept people’s feedback, but it’s your creative vision at the end of the day.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The perfect Saturday in Dallas, TX: – Coffee and conversation at White Rhino in State Thomas neighborhood
– A quick walk on the Katy Trail for some fresh air
– Lunch at Jimmy’s Food Store for meatball subs or a muffuletta
– Summer beers at Katy Trail Ice House for dog watching
– Dinner at Bowen House for a charcuterie board and a craft cocktail
– Show at Four Day Weekend, improv comedy, in Lower Greenville, for some good laughs (tickets are only $25/person!)
– After-show espresso martinis at Milli down the street, just a quick walk away

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, we want to give a major shoutout to our parents for allowing us to bounce ideas off of them when we’ve hit a creative roadblock, listening to countless hours of chaotic banter, and supporting us unconditionally. We also want to give a shoutout to our friends who don’t miss an episode and are always there to give us the positive reassurance we need to keep going. Without you guys, there is no Touché the Podcast!
