Hi Tony, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most important lesson my business and career have taught me is this:

Without a clear understanding of your purpose, you will never build anything truly lasting. Purpose isn’t a slogan it’s the compass that directs every decision. If you don’t know who you’re called to serve, or what gift God placed in you to serve them with, your business becomes a hustle, not a calling.

You can’t lead with power if you haven’t aligned with purpose. And you can’t serve effectively if you haven’t discovered the value you’re meant to bring. When purpose meets service, impact follows. That’s when business becomes legacy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I grew up in Alief, Texas, a neighborhood that taught me resilience before I ever learned to play the game. Surrounded by adversity, I learned early that if I wanted something better, I had to fight for it. Not just physically, but mentally and spiritually. That upbringing gave me grit, faith, and the foundation I still stand on today.

I AM Tony Hills-former NFL offensive lineman, National Champion at the University of Texas, and Super Bowl Champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers. But titles aside, the most important thing I’ve gained from this journey is purpose.

After nearly a decade in the NFL, I found myself like many former athletes successful on paper, but searching for direction off the field. I had to ask: who am I without the jersey? That question led me to my true calling: helping athletes and insurance professionals discover their purpose and build purpose-driven platforms that multiply income, expand impact, and elevate influence, through wisdom, strategy, and aligned action.

I founded STATT Financial Services to help athletes and insurance professionals gain the tools they need to build sustainable wealth, protect their future, and lead with purpose. Whether it’s leveraging life insurance, annuities, and alternative investments or navigating financial transitions, or launching a business built on calling and not just commissions -we equip leaders to create legacy.

What sets us apart is this: we don’t sell hype. We teach strategy based on biblical principles. We understand the pressure of competition, the fear of starting over, and the hidden risks of success without structure. I’ve lived it. That’s why everything we teach is rooted in clarity, conviction, and calling.

Was it easy? Not at all. I’ve battled injury, been cut from teams, faced identity loss, and started over more than once. But every challenge was preparation for the purpose I walk in today.

I want the world to know that my story isn’t just about making it out of Alief or winning a Super Bowl. It’s about using every part of my journey to empower others, especially athletes and insurance professionals – to serve with strategy, build with boldness, and lead with legacy.

This isn’t just business. It’s assignment. And I’m just getting started.

I want to give all thanks and honor to the Most High for guiding every step of this journey. I’m also deeply grateful to my family for their unwavering support, belief, and presence through every high and low. This business journey hasn’t been easy, but their love and strength have made it possible.
