We had the good fortune of connecting with Tim Kyser and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tim, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I literally grew up in the dry-cleaning industry and remember being in a crib at the back of my family’s corner dry-cleaners. As the years went on, I helped in all aspects of the business becoming a well-known expert in the industry. Despite graduating with college honors in engineering, my heart always remained intertwined with the family dry-clean business and its legacy so I never pursued engineering professionally. The years counted off and I always wrestled with the environmental implications of traditional dry-cleaning, particularly being an avid outdoorsman with deep connections to nature and also becoming a father and the worry about leaving a lasting, positive legacy behind.
Driven by this desire to make things right and effect positive change on the planet, I took my engineering background and 35 years of dry-cleaning experience and embarked on a transformative journey to change the way dry-cleaning is done. Six years later, through countless hours of research and development, heavy financial risks, covid shutdowns, and the loving support of friends and family, ëClean Advanced Fabricare was born and blossomed. It fills my heart with pride and joy to say ëClean has become a pioneer in the dry-clean industry with high performance, eco-responsibility and sustainability embedded into our very core.
At the heart of ëClean’s approach is their proprietary Recycled Liquid Carbon Dioxide (LCO₂) cleaning technology, which sets us apart as true trailblazers in the industry. By utilizing this unique method, ëClean is able to achieve exceptional cleaning results while completely eliminating the need for water, toxic chemicals, and heated drying processes. This not only ensures the preservation of delicate fabrics and textiles but also significantly reduces the ecological impact traditionally associated with dry-cleaning processes.
ëClean’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond our innovative cleaning technology. From sourcing eco-friendly materials to implementing energy-efficient processes, we have cultivated a culture of environmental stewardship within the company. Our dedication to planet-positive change has not only earned recognition within the industry but has also positioned ëClean as a leader in eco-responsible fabric care and textile sustainability. Something we are truly proud of and a lasting legacy!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At ëClean Advanced Fabricare, we’re not just revolutionizing the dry-cleaning industry, we’re redefining what it means to care for garments, bedding, and outdoor gear. With our game-changing technology, we’ve turned century-old practices upside down, offering a truly sustainable alternative that prioritizes environmental responsibility without sacrificing cleaning performance.
Traditional dry-cleaning methods rely on wasteful water consumption, toxic chemicals, and heated drying cycles that can degrade the quality of textile based items over time and contaminate the environment. At ëClean, we’ve incorporated innovative technology into our cleaning process that actually enhances the performance of textiles and maximizes cleanliness. One remarkable cleaning step delivers a 100% heat-free dry, continually extending the lifespan of each and every item we clean!
How is this possible and what sets us apart? In a nutshell, we take recycled CO₂ in a closed system, liquify it in a very unique way and use it to clean textile items. What sets us apart even more is the combination of our engineering background and 35 years of extensive knowledge in the dry-cleaning industry. A unique one, two punch creating hundreds of extremely effective textile cleaning processes that are impossible to reproduce and extremely proprietary.
The way we use liquified CO₂ not only eliminates the need for harsh mechanical action but also creates a low surface tension for a hygienic clean that rivals even hospital-grade standards. This means that your garments and textiles are not only impeccably clean but also preserved for the long haul, ensuring that they look and feel their best with each use.
We’re proud to offer the most environmentally responsible cleaning service in the world, all without sacrificing performance and affordability. With ëClean, you can rest assured that your items are being cared for in a way that not only benefits the planet but also delivers superior results without breaking the bank.
So why settle for outdated, environmentally harmful cleaning methods when you can experience the future of fabric care. Join us in making a positive impact on the planet, one cleaned item at a time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely a shoutout to my family as a whole but especially my dear wife and father. My wife for believing in me, putting up with my long hours away from home, deeply anxious moments of financial strife and constantly re-charging my physical and emotional batteries keeping me on the right course. My father for his endless love and believing in my vision, teaching me the tricks of the trade, including a never say quit mentality!
