Meet Tiffany Marsh | Singer & Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Marsh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My vulnerability and rawness. I thank God for having lived some of the most difficult moments of my life because it made me stronger, a writer. Music that spoke to me, little did I know would resonate with people all over the world and I’m forever thankful.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m an artist that puts life into a song that you can hum to yourself or send to a love interest. I started my journey in the church, still very much active in ministry, but I started behind the scenes. I’ve played the drums, directed choirs, featured solo you name it! In 2018 I was privileged to travel to Berlin, Germany to perform for two events. I had no idea how the crowd would receive me, singing songs that could only be done justice by the original artist … That trip opened my eyes to music outside of church and really showcasing my talents with other genres. In 2020 I started recording 60 second clips of original lyrics over beats using the Voisey app. I later gained traction on Instagram and TikTok which made me realize how large my audience really is. In 2021, I released my debut EP in March and followed it by 2 more EPs and a few singles which has been streamed in over 81 countries around the world. I’ve learned to be authentic to what speaks to me, to be honest in the music as there is encouragement in every story. I want the world to know I love music with my heart and I sing for US, not me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love when friends in family come into town! We brunch like it’s a crime not to, lol! I’m originally from Houston, Tx so I know still only know the basics in DFW – Earls Legacy West for happy hour/dinner, Pepper smash, Klyde warren park for a nice day out and pictures, Deep Ellum will for sure keep us busy, Tueplo Honey for brunch, SHOPPING at Northpark, church on Sunday followed by brunch in Addison and Lava Catina Sunday night for live music!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and friends have been the biggest push! They see me now as I see myself in years to come. I started writing and singing my own music after a difficult breakup. The relationship played such a toll on me because we were best of friends. The pain and frustration of that situation birthed my emotions on paper and in turn, into songs.
