We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Forsberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, did you self-fund your business or did you have investors fund your business? If you could go back, would you do it differently?
My Investor is my husband. Lol It takes two people on board to make it successful. I am the creative one and he is the business person. I can sometimes get carried away on my budget and things I commit to. He will reign me in and ask if this is just to make me feel good or is it a wise business move.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
After working for over 20 years in Luxury Sales I launched an Etsy site and Website to sell mid-to high end vintage and designer jewelry. What sets my jewelry offerings apart is price point and quality of work. I work directly with my manufacturers and there is no middle man or advertising costs rolled into my price points. I’ve also been able to work closely with fashion stylists to get my jewelry in over 10 Magazines and placement on Celebrity clients. I’m now carried in 4 local stores. It hasn’t been easy because I have no one working for me. I do it all. Buying, Designing, Photography, PR, Website, Trunk Shows, Etc. I’ve learned to block out outside noise and listen to my gut instincts. Everyone thinks they know the best thing for me to do, but I have to step back and remember I know this business. Lots of great opportunities await. It’s really been up to me how big I want to get. I first started this business as a way to make extra money while my kids are growing up. With one going off to College and the other about to be a Sophomore I have a few years to decide. I love making women happy with beautiful jewelry. I guess I would want the world to know that.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I think “Shark Tank” is probably my biggest influence. I also have several female mentors in the Fashion World that I can bounce ideas off..
