We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Douglas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, how do you think about risk?
I think that in business, and in anything you do in life it is important to take risk ,You can’t be afraid to fail, or to lose. In my experience taking risks and trying different things is what has made us stand out. I’m sure that there are millions of eyelash companies, and the famous line I always hear  is “ everyone sells or does lashes, but everyone doesn’t sale or apply fantazylashes. I took risks by even deciding to birth fantazylashes, but I knew what I was building and what we have to offer. It’s important to believe and know that nobody in this world has what you have to offer, it’s your brand believe in it, take risks and learn from every failure or no that you may hear.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets fantazylashes apart from others is that we are diverse we believe there’s a lash style for everyone, and customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance. I am very excited about venturing into the professional eyelash application part of eyelashes. I’m currently in school to become a licensed eyelash technician. I’m excited to take more of a hands on approach with customers, I can look at someone and recommend an eyelash based off of facial structure. I would say that I’ve gotten where I am today by the grace of god, hard work and learning from others as well as some mistakes along the way. It definitely was not easy, having a business can be scary. One week you may have sales out the door, and the next week things may get slow, but you have to stay consistent and keep pushing. I’ve learned that sometimes when you first start your business it may be family and or friends who may not be as supportive as you would like, but to keep pursing your business goals and your genuine support will come along the way. I want the world to know that beauty is in everyone, that dreams become reality when you make them goals.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would have to say uptown Dallas. I would eat at Ellen’s or somewhere in uptown Dallas. I would say anything in uptown Dallas , they have a nice scenery. There are also a couple of bars in Fort Worth that are nice like The Post and Tulips.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say @TheHoneyKisscollecton Remarkable products and very customer service oriented.
