We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasha Jefferson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tasha, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Habits that have brought me this far I would have to say are: Staying deep in my faith, pushing forward no matter what, staying motivated, staying far away from procrastinating, setting/following a to do list and remaining positive. Those factors have played a big part in the positive outcomes of my career this far
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart, is my drive. To keep pushing even when the resistance is tough. My parents raised me to get up even when you fall and to put forth 100% even when everyone doesn’t see that 100%. Hard work does not go unnoticed. I’ve learned along the way to be patient and that your time too will come! Thats what I want the world to know about me!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My bestfriend is in town, Hm. We definitely would have to go eat somewhere good! I’m thinking mexican, Italian or seafood! Im a sucker for some crab legs!! Then definitely would do something fun…outdoorsy, indoors or even some in house fun with this pandemic. The most interesting places I’d check out would definitely be: deep ellum, uptown/downtown, aquarium, museums and some of the steak houses!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person who deserves the most credit is God, and its as simple as that. He has made a way out of no way for me, each time I hit a road block, he provided a new avenue or opened a new door. I remained faithful and he blessed me with a producer, a studio to record and networking to the right people. I would be NO WHERE without God.
