We had the good fortune of connecting with Tani Lamb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tani, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued a career as a creative because I embrace the natural and exhilarating process of pure creation. The magnitude of being able to turn nothing into something is satisfaction at its core. You cannot be afraid to write the first word, take the first brush stroke, play the first note, or sew that first stitch. It is an irreplaceable feeling of self-accomplishment when you can turn a stir of brainstorms and a whirlwind of thoughts into a complete and cohesive article, short story, or book.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Through sheer willpower and tenacity, I have made it to my new book’s release date of March 2nd, 2023. There were many challenges since I already had a business, and balancing the two proved to be the ultimate balancing act. I have made it to where I am because I have a clear vision of what I want, and I do everything I can to achieve this goal. This is part of the reason why I decided to self-publish my current book. I enjoy being an indie author because it provides freedom and allows for creativity. I can learn from my mistakes and continue to grow. I am also very detail-oriented, and I believe everything must be intentional. My current project is a wealth of information, but I think I did an excellent job weaving adventure, fantasy, and culture together for the ultimate tapestry of a tale. I am excited to hear any feedback; feel free to contact me on my social media platforms or through email. Happy reading

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love museums, and anytime friends or family come into town, I always take them to the The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza and the Dallas Museum of Art. I also take a field trip to Fort Worth to explore Sundance Square, The Stock Yards, and The Meadows Museum. Enjoying a particular cuisine can help you reminisce about a past vacation. The Mediterranean is one of my favorite destinations, so I often take people to Selda Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar on Beltline Road. This Turkish restaurant will remind you of those beautiful sunsets by the sea.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This shoutout is dedicated to the entire spectrum of educators, from administrators to counselors and classroom teachers. I hear many of the grievances that they are now facing. I want to make learning fun and enjoyable. Many educators want children to learn and comprehend, but many obstacles are in the way. My latest book is for them.
