Meet Talyn Provo | Real Estate Agent, Team Leader | Talyn Provo Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate

We had the good fortune of connecting with Talyn Provo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Talyn, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most significant factor behind my success—and the success of the Talyn Provo Team—is our commitment to being a resource first. I always say, “Resource first, realtor second,” because my top priority is helping people however I can, whether they’re ready to buy, sell, or just need guidance. I believe in leading with value, and that mindset has shaped everything I do. Sharing knowledge and being genuinely helpful has always been at the heart of my brand, and that’s what continues to build trust and long-term relationships.

What should our readers know about your business?
When I became a real estate agent, I knew I wanted to be more than just another name on a sign. I’ve always been passionate about delivering exceptional service, and I brought that same commitment into my real estate career.
What sets me apart is my dedication to honest guidance and a client-first approach. Over the past five years, I’ve built a reputation as a trusted resource for buyers and sellers across the Metroplex by showing up, doing the work, and going above and beyond—every single time.
There have definitely been challenges along the way, but each one has taught me something. I truly believe you either win or you learn—and every obstacle has made me better at what I do.
What I want people to know about our team: Our clients are our #1 priority 100% of the time. We prioritize our clients’ needs and work tirelessly to ensure their satisfaction. Our unwavering commitment to understanding and addressing their preferences and concerns is what sets our team apart from other real estate teams out there.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Texas State Fair is a MUST if it is in season!!
* Eat: Las Palmas, Terry Blacks or Hutchins for BBQ, Legacy Food Hall (Plano), Joe T. Garcia’s (Fort Worth)
* Drink: Clifton Club, Harwood Arms, Bowen House, Leela’s
* Visit: Dallas Arboretum, Klyde Warren Park, Fort Worth Stockyards, Grandscape District (The Colony), The Star (Frisco)
* Hang out (Dallas): Knox/Henderson, Uptown, Design District, Bishop Arts, Highland Park Village, Legacy West
* Etc: Paddleboarding at DFW Surf (Lake Lewisville or Lake Grapevine)

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my grandfather, Robert Provo—my #1 fan long before I ever became a real estate agent. His unconditional belief in me gave me the confidence to chase big goals, and he celebrated every small win like it was the biggest deal in the world. He passed away in November 2023, but his influence lives on in how I show up for my clients, my team, and myself every day.
