Meet T Leshae | Style Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with T Leshae and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi T, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is the fact that I keep God first and allow him to lead me.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Mental Health Professional and Style Coach. I teach multi-passionate entrepreneurs how to get dressed based upon their individuality, lifestyle, as well as personal style by creating a multi-dimensional wardrobe.
What sets me apart from others is that I turned my pain into purpose. My journey is mine, and no one else’s. When discovering the career path I wanted to take, I wrote down three things I love to do: modeling, fashion, and helping others. I asked myself “how are you going to help others when you can’t help yourself.” That question led me to pursuing a social work degree to overcome my childhood trauma. I went from hiding in the closet journaling my thoughts to styling individuals from my closet.
It was easy, until it wasn’t. I always believed anything was possible and it wasn’t until I fell down that I stopped believing. When I walked by faith, I accomplished everything I said I would. Then, I started talking and doing nothing. The biggest lesson I learned was to keep quiet and move only when I’m told to.
I want the world to experience the solutions I’ve created to the problems/pain I’ve endured myself.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting our itinerary would be:
Monday – Starbucks run for a refresher at Starbucks Reserve Bar, the boardwalk at Granite Park
Tuesday – Top Golf, dinner and drinks at Pappadeaux
Wednesday – Wine tasting at Zerbina Wines, Main Event
Thursday – Lunch at the Henry and painting with a twist
Friday – Dallas Museum of Art, brunch at Breadwinners, and shopping at North Park Mall
Saturday – Yoga at Klyde Warren Park, followed by food truck tastings, massages at Massage8, then dinner at Moxies
Sunday – Church at MountainView Church of Christ, Brunch at Crumbzz in Forney, and deluxe mani pedis at The Nail Lounge in Forney.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shout-out to my style coach, Nikki Venus at Style Coach Academy.
