Hi Shyy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was I seen what I was doing for OTHER companies and businesses and knew it was my time to do what I intended on doing when I first moved to Dallas ….starting my own business but not just as business. DYS will be my BRAND.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
After working with some of the biggest names in the waxing industry and training other professionals, I decided to create a space of my own – focused on comfort, care, and results. At DYS Unique Bar, I specialize in Brazilian and full body waxing, offering top-tier service in a clean, welcoming environment made just for you.

This journey was far from easy but I compare myself to where I was last year around this time and that’s how I’m able to overcome my challenges and not be caught up in the NOW. Things take time and what’s for you no one can take from you but you .

I want the world to know that DYS Unique Bar is my business but DYS itself is my brand.
DYS stands for Double Y Shyy, My Name . I’m a jack of all trades kind of woman so I don’t want to limit myself to ONE NICHE . Yes I’m a licensed professional but I also enjoy rapping , acting and making comedy skits .
The Brand DYS is ME as a person .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my mother for always being my motivation. My husband for being so supportive. My village for falling through anytime I needed them and a special shoutout to my personal guardian angel , my brother . I dedicate everything I do to him because this was a sibling plan .
