Hi Shyy, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I Have a Few That I Love To Use in My Daily Life But My Favorite Affirmation Is Be The Kind of Energy YOU Want To Attract. To Me , It Means You Have To Be The One To Set The Tone For Your Day. If You Are a Negative Person Then Most Likely You’ll Attract Negative Attention or Negative Energy But If You Are Positive and Optimistic Throughout Your Day , I Feel Like It’s Setting Yourself Up For Success. I’m a Firm Believer of When You Look Good , You Feel Good but When You Feel Good , You Do Great Things.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a Licensed Esthetician/ Skin Care Professional & What Keeps Me Busy Professionally is Making Sure I Give Each Customer Top Tier VIP Service EVERY SINGLE TIME. Whether it’s a New Client or Returning Client. My Goal Is To Not Only Give Great Customer Service But Also I’m Big on Educating My Clients As Well. The Beauty Industry Is Huge and Always Expanding So Continuously Furthering My Education Is What Makes It Easier For Me To Give My Clients an Excellent Service. Being CONSISTENT is Something I Also Take Pride in to Keep Me Busy So I Can Continue To Serve My Returning Clients. But The Main Thing I Feel Keeps My Busy As Well …I’m Paying Attention to My Own Race(Always Have) & Not Trying to Compare it To What I See On Social Media/& Or Other Business. I Started My Esthetics Journey Back In 2015 in Fort Wayne , Indiana & Started Loving The Confidence I Was Given To People & I Loved Learning About Skin and Products .I Love What I Do Because I Love Restoring That Confidence In People. I Relocated To Texas in May of 2022 & That’s When I Found Candee Skin In October of 2022 & Have Been Apart of This Amazing Family Since Then. I Specialize in Waxing (Full Body ), Facials ( Microdermabrasion & Derma- planning) & Brows (Tint & Henna ). The Main Thing I Want People To Take From My Story Is to Never Give Up . Life Is Not a Race & Everyone Has Their Own Timing and Everyone’s Journey is Different. Always Bet On You & Remember Why You Started So It Can Be Your Daily Reminder To NEVER Give Up.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I Personally Want To Thank My Mother For Being My Biggest Cheerleader, Support & Role Model. I’ve Watched Her Gracefully Juggle Work Life , Raising Kids, Starting A Career & Business in The Beauty Industry. Shes Been On My Esthetician Journey With Me From Day One & She’s Molded Me Into The Woman I Am Today and I’m Forever Grateful for Her . I Also Want to Thank My Boss Mrs Candice Johnson. From The Moment She Hired Me At Candee Skin Shes Been The Best Boss/Mentor/and The Sweetest Soul . I Love How She Pours Her Knowledge Into All of Her Girls But Most Importantly I’m Very Grateful and Honored to Have Someone Who Wants to See Me Win in Every Aspect of Life , Not Just In My Career. Lastly I Want to Thank My Husband. He Is The Reason I Was Able To Get Back In My Career of Choice. When I Needed to Study , He Would Give Me Mommy Breaks and Keep Our Kids In The Room With Him. He Cheered For & With Me When I Passed My Test. He Speaks Life Into Me When I Have Doubtful Moments, He Brags About Me Constantly To Anyone, & I’m Just Grateful to Have A Husband Who’s Supportive Like He Is.
