We had the good fortune of connecting with Shilpa | Khanorkar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shilpa |, what matters most to you?
Be true, be yourself. Do not change for others. Impress yourself, dress for yourself, look good for yourself. The confidence itself speaks from your eyes. Your authenticity is your best jewelry. Your smile is your best treasure. Your family is your best friend!!Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Let me start by saying, that I am an Artist. From a very young age, art in every form attracted me, be it painting, drawing, dancing, performing, acting, Fashion shows, modelling etc. However as life moved, I did my bachelor’s in Information Technolgy and entered the Technical world surrounded by Computers. After spending many years in this career, the art again started calling me back. Thats when i decided to re-ignite the passion and started with dance, modelling, fashion shows etc. Have met lovely people on the way and continue to do so. Any form of Art motivates me and keeps me going.Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
ohh anytime Legacy West in Plano, Texas. Love the atmosphere there, the shops, the restaurants, the overall feel, nothing can beat that. Boardwalk, another beautiful location to spend your evening. Also recently i visited the Stockyard and man was I impressed, its a lovely place to take your friends family and hang out for a day Dallas, Frisco, Allen, Mckinney have some amazing lakes, i have discovered so many recently and they are so-so beautiful. All should visit them. And the last i visited is ‘The Star’, love that place too!Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
1. The biggest shoutout will always start with your family, it stands with you in thick and thin, motivates you when you are down, encourages you to do better when you are rising. They are a constant pillar of strength. 2. My next shoutout is to ‘ Vasundhara Education and Welfare Association’ which is an NGO that works for the betterment of women and children. At a very young age, the organization taught me how to be compassionate and how to volunteer and work for society. The CEO of the company Mrs Veena Khanorkar till date continues to work and give back to the society in every possible way. 3. My next shoutout is to Yogesh Pathak, a great photographer and who has always taught me various ways of photography. Always loved working with him. 4. And last but not least are ALL my friends who have never left my side and have always encouraged me every step of the way.
