We had the good fortune of connecting with Sherle Stevens and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sherle, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
When I first had a Numerology reading 49 years ago, I was astounded to see a blueprint for my life written on a piece of paper! I immediately wanted to learn how to read for others, so I began to study with that numerologist and read charts for my friends. At the time – and for many years after- I was a professional advertising illustrator, Art Director and Creative Director.
I continued to read Numerology charts for friends, clients and eventually trained students. In 2017 I wrote The Numerology Playbook for beginners- available on Amazon. Even after all this time, I am excited to read each new chart – able to remind clients of Who They Are – and Why They Are Here. Living life isn’t easy – and we have forgotten how powerful we are! We need to be reminded.

I was also trained as a Life Coach by the late Debbie Ford, and I have created a coaching program for my Numerology clients, based on the 7 most important numbers in their Numerology chart – the Soul Number, which tells what they are longing to find in their lifetime: their Personality Number, which helps them see the way they are presenting themselves to the world; their Expression Number, the essence of Who They Are; their Life Path Number, which represents where and how their Soul wants them to be traveling; their Power Number, which is their ultimate goal to be reached; and the number of their Current Major Cycle which defines where their major opportunities lie, and their Current Personal Year – the lesson and the gift available between Birthdays. It would have been difficult to create a fulltime income as a Numerologist, so I was fortunate to have my professional art career, as well.
Now, it is difficult to find time for posting and doing other marketing, while I’m reading charts and also writing my memoir.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love the healthy, fresh vegetarian Indian food at Kalachandji’s in old East Dallas. It is located inside a Hindu temple, which has a stunning interior with murals painted by a famous Indian artist decades ago. I also bring visiting friends to rise no.1 – in Inwood Village on West Lover’s Lane. It’s a wonderfully casual French restaurant featuring soufflés- both sweet and savory. I understand that Martha Stewart was a recent guest!
Another go-to favorite of mine is Asian Mint- which has varied dishes from various Asian countries. There are 3 locations in Dallas- my favorite is on Oak Lawn.
For entertainment, I’m a movie buff so I would definitely plan an afternoon at the Angelika Theater on Mockingbird.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Numerology teacher, the late Dr.Jackie Suggs inspired me initially.. Over the past twenty years I have studied with many spiritual teachers, including the late author Debbie Ford, Jean Houston, and Debra Poneman., among others. I continue to be inspired by the teachings of Babaji, Amma, the Dalai Llama and the Lakota, Native American teachings, and the meditation training from Sree Sree Ravi Shankar.
