We had the good fortune of connecting with Shera Moffitt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shera, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe the most important factor behind the success of our business is our commitment to service and building genuine relationships. For us, it’s never been about just making a sale; it’s about creating lasting connections with our clients. We approach each relationship with an attitude of servitude, really listening to their needs and helping them navigate their journey. Being authentically who we are is key—We want our clients to know they can trust us, not just as their realtor, but as friends who genuinely cares. In our industry, relationships matter so much, We think that personal touch and our authentic vibes sets our brand apart.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are proud realtors in the DFW area, specializing in helping people buy and sell residential real estate, land, and investment properties. Recently, we’ve taken a big step ourselves by diving into our first fix-and-flip project and a development. What truly sets us apart in this industry is our authenticity, positive vibes, integrity, and unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service.

What we’re most proud of are the relationships we’ve built along the way. It’s incredible to hear people speaking our names in rooms we may not even be in, and that’s a testament to how God keeps blessing us. We’re focused on making a name for ourselves while maintaining our humility and kindness. Our mission is to serve, and we pray that God continues to bless us so we can be a blessing to others.

We’ve reached this point by God’s grace—nothing we did alone! We give all the glory to Him. When challenges arose, we leaned heavily on prayer and family, and we always believed in one another. We’ve never wavered; we’ve stayed true, loyal, and ten toes down. We hold fast to the belief that what God has for us is for us, so we just wait our turn. In the beginning, entering real estate seemed easy, but we quickly realized it wasn’t sustainable without hard work. When things got tough, we devised ways to keep pushing and strategically reinventing ourselves over and over and ultimately made it to the other side.

Hard times will come, but it’s all about how we handle them. We’ve learned that it’s important to stay down until you come up, that not everyone will share the same vision, and that it’s okay to ask for help. Rejection is normal—not everyone will like us or choose us, but that’s perfectly fine; the right people will find their way to us.

What we want the world to know about us and our story is that we are truly best friends, soul sisters. We’ve been growing together since we were just 9 years old, and nothing or no one can break that bond! Our brand is built on loyalty and service because those are just two essential ingredients for success in every meaningful relationship, both personally and professionally.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Honestly, I have to say that I don’t really do itineraries—I’m all about letting things flow and keeping options open for adventures or some well-deserved downtime! But being a huge foodie, any time spent together will definitely involve delicious meals.

For brunch, we might keep it classy and head over to RH Rooftop to soak in those stunning views. If we’re looking for a lively vibe, we could check out any spot in DFW, where the DJ spins some fantastic R&B jams and the food is top-notch and one of our favorite bartenders, KJ will make it a memorable experience!

If we decide to venture into the suburbs, we’d hit up The Vault in Mansfield for a casual yet upscale dinner at the bar. The atmosphere is cozy, and we’d be treated to amazing food crafted by owner and Chef Dex, along with cocktails from another fantastic mixologist, Vernon. After dinner, it’s off to the back for some laughs and good conversation at the cigar lounge—a perfect nightcap!

You can bet we’ll make time for some kind of sporting event, whether it’s a Mavs game, a Cowboys game, or chilling at a lounge with a live DJ or band. No matter what we choose, a great time is guaranteed!

To wrap up the weekend, we’ll definitely hit up church on Sunday morning, of course, and then find another nice brunch spot to enjoy. And just for fun, maybe we’ll throw in a bungee aerobics class to sneak in a workout and keep the good vibes going. Good times with good people are always the goal, and in the DFW area, there’s never a shortage of either!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d absolutely love to take a moment to shout out my incredible best friend and business partner. She plays such a crucial role in our success in real estate, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side. In this business, having someone who shares my faith, vision and passion makes all the difference.

I also want to acknowledge the unwavering love and support from my family and friends. My sister, in particular, who recently passed away after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer, has been my role model, my strength, and my motivation. Her brilliance and resilience have taught me so much about fighting through whatever comes my way. She was truly a phenomenal woman, and her spirit inspires me every day to keep going. I carry her lessons with me, reminding myself that tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone. I strive to push hard and stay focused on the future because I know the mistakes of my past don’t define what God has planned for my future. It’s all about embracing each day and working toward my dreams with the love and support of those around me.
