Hi Shaquita, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I feel that my habit of “go for it” Has gotten me where I am now. No matter what the risk I try to do my best and go for it anyway

I’m the founder of a women’s empowerment organization. We support women dealing with low self esteem, past insecurities, & women coping with domestic violence, autism, breast cancer, and lupus.

I’m the owner of a construction com of 7 years. We travel from state to state demolishing buildings and interior gutting.

Ava has big dreams-
My first children’s book, about an African American girl that was bullied in school because of the color of her skin and texture of her hair.

Math workbook-
A book I created to help kids as they transitioned into virtual school during Covid quarantine.

Alone time with God-
A 60 day inspirational journal for fasting and one on one time with God.

I’m also a notary public for the state of Texas.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the bear creek park, the scenery is amazing. Trader village gives you that time to get you walking miles in for the day.
A great place to hang out and listen to good music is Sandaga 813.
