We had the good fortune of connecting with SEEK VALEUR and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi SEEK, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I grew up as a creative individual and always knew since I was a child that creating art was the life for me. I’ve always been somewhat of a rebellious person and wanted to do things my own way and the only way I concluded I could do this was through my own business. I’ve never been afraid of failure that shit is just apart of the journey. Anytime I get down I always pick myself back up and that’s what you need when it comes to owning a business- resilience and grit. You can’t spell billionaire without a couple L’s. I’m determined to make it work out despite the trials and tribulations, nothing good comes easy, but those things r worth the sacrifice.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art stems from my life experiences and emotions but I also love to experiment when i’m designing garments / patterns because that’s what it is all about in my eyes. I’m honestly no where near where I would like to be when it comes to owning a brand and I wouldn’t consider myself close to a professional yet but I know that i’m not going to let anything stop me from getting to that point. My biggest accomplishment so far has been traveling to Los Angeles and New York for my brand but also selling my clothing across the world in Germany, London etc. These have been my proudest moments because it showed me that I am capable of accomplishing great things no matter how I came up and the struggles I have been through and you just have to keep pushing forward to get to where you want to be. I’ve learned that life is truly a journey and you cant rush the process of that to get to your end goal you have to enjoy the process and work as hard as you can to get to your destination. I want the world to know that’s it’s okay to feel emotion and express it in your own way even on my darkest days when my soul decays i utilize that in my own way and still watch the sun shine on another day.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Human dior, Traffic, 2nd street, Neiman marcus, human dior also throws art exhibitions for local artists that are pretty cool for da most part. any scene function – @lonestarspirit,@loveghost , @th3ystas , @luna9o9

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my brothers @jadenktsv @basedinflexico they’ve been here through hell and high water not only working with me on getting projects done but also through the hardships of life. shoutout to my videographer/photographer and friend @6ixfilnn I love my entire team they have helped me bring my dreams into fruition #ktsv and #tmve @yobeezus @dyedfaygo @tesoslimey . Last but never least shoutout my grandmother she’s truly my rock and support system I couldn’t love her more.
