We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean & Ashley Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sean & Ashley, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When my husband, Sean, and I first sought out to venture into business together we felt confident we both brought strengths to the table that collectively would make us a successful team. As it specifically relates to risk, Sean is more comfortable taking risks and because I trust his judgement I have been pushed outside my comfort zone to follow his lead both in life and business over the 17 years we have been together.

We have taken risks that have panned out amazing. Fourteen years ago we packed up a moving truck and moved from Rochester, NY to Dallas, TX fairly abruptly with jobs secured but no family or friends anywhere close. As it turns out this decision would bless us with careers, friends, a place to raise our family and ultimately this risk would bring us to Frisco where we call home.

We have taken risks that haven’t panned out amazing as well. Investments gone wrong. Trusting the wrong people. Life without risk would never reap reward so it’s naive to believe that it will always lead you where you thought you were headed. The reality is, risk always delivers a lesson. Trust, but verify. Inspect what you expect. No one will ever care about your business as much as you do. You could argue that risk always reaps a reward if you’re looking at it through the lens of experience gained.

As we have learned from life and grown in faith, we would refer to the concept of risk as a leap of faith; trusting that we are being led a certain direction and no matter the outcome it will work out just the way God intended it to.

As it relates to our business venture with Clean Juice, we opened our West Frisco location in late January 2020. Following what could be considered the most challenging year to open a business we took a leap of faith and opened a second location just 5 miles away, Clean Juice Starwood Frisco, in March 2021. We strongly believe we were meant to serve the Frisco community through Clean Juice.

Risk is scary. But never taking those leaps of faith will leave you wondering what could have been; and that’s a risk not worth taking.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Clean Juice is a certified organic juice bar franchise. Organic, cold-pressed juice that is not pasteurized provides the most dense nutrient value possible and that’s exactly how it’s done at Clean Juice. We were also drawn to Clean Juice because it is a faith based company with core values based on Bible verses.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As you might imagine we would want to eat at some of our favorite restaurants in the Frisco area! We would visit Legacy West so we could enjoy True Food Kitchen for sure. We also really enjoy the Shops at Starwood and would be sure to eat at Up Inspired Kitchen, Tru Fire and J Theodores.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Opening a business requires tons of time on the front end and we could have not opened either of our locations without Sean’s mother, Jackie.

Sean’s parents moved to Plano 9 years ago so we would have family nearby. They both have led careers within the restaurant industry so when we first explored the idea of Clean Juice we knew Jackie could be tremendously helpful in getting our locations set up.

Jackie served as General Manager to open both locations. From setting up the store to hiring all our juicerista staff, she put in a whole lot of love, energy and time into Clean Juice and we are so appreciative of her contribution to our business venture.
