We had the good fortune of connecting with Scott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Scott, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I grew up in the restaurant business with my parents always being entrepreneurs. From a young age, I saw them start and run their own businesses, which had a huge impact on me.
Watching their dedication, hard work, and ability to create something from the ground up inspired me to do the same. That environment taught me the value of taking initiative, being self-reliant, and building something you’re passionate about. I also have a hard time being told what to do, so being my own boss is very important for my life. That’s why I became a realtor and started my real estate business-it allows me to take control of my career, help others, and build something meaningful on my own terms.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I got started in the real estate business because I saw my parents invest in real estate while they were running their restaurant. They owned rental properties, and from a young age, I was always intrigued by that side of the business. It sparked my interest and made me realize that real estate could be a great career path-one that combines my passion for helping people with the opportunity to build lasting wealth.

It wasn’t easy getting started in real estate, but it’s definitely rewarding once you know what you’re doing. I was blessed that it didn’t take me too long to get my first deal-my younger brother was a mortgage lender at the time with Bank of America, and he helped me land my first clients. That early support made a big difference and helped build momentum in my career.

The real estate business can be challenging, but if you have a strong work ethic, are great at networking, and know how to talk to people, you can go a long way in this industry. I bring six years of experience in real estate, and I’m proud to say l’ve become an expert in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. I understand the area, the trends, and what it takes to help clients succeed in this fast-paced environment.
What sets me apart from other realtors is my background in the service industry. Growing up in the restaurant business taught me the importance of hard work, attention to detail, and putting people first. I bring that same service-based mindset to my real estate clients. I’m dedicated to providing a
personalized, high-quality experience for every person I work with, and I truly love helping people find homes that set them up for a strong and successful future.

What also sets my brand apart is that I focus on building lasting relationships with my clients—| don’t just see them as another deal. I want my clients to know that l’m here for them for life, no matter what they need. Whether it’s real estate-related or simply guidance and support, I’m always ready to help in any way I can. That’s just the servant’s heart in me, and that’s the foundation of how I run my business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend was visiting Dallas, Texas for a week, I’d want to give them a full experiences of the city-great food fun nightlife, and some iconic sights. Here’s what I’d plan: Restaurants to Eat I would take them to some of Dallas iconic restaurants. Have some Mambo Taxi’s at Mi Cocina their signature frozen drink. Mi Cocina has Tex-Mex food that is a staple in Dallas. I would take them to Nick & Sam’s a high-end steakhouse for a fancy night out always a good vibe and excellent food. For great BBQ food spots I would take them to Terry Blacks BBQ In deep ellum. They have great rich Texas bbq. Another great BBQ spot is Pecan Lodge also in deep ellum one of the best bbq spots in Dallas great brisket, ribs, sausage you name it. Another great spot is Javiers this is a high end Mexican restaurant for a great night out they have great cocktails and great food with an awesome atmosphere and they have a cigar bar that is amazing. Places to go with a great atmosphere and drinks would be Happiest Hour awesome rooftop views of the Dallas skyline. Truck Yard in lower Greenville a laid back outdoor beer garden with food trucks and live music. The Dallas Arboretum is a beautiful and peaceful place perfect for a daytime stroll. Deep Vellum is a great place to explore more great restaurants and bars with great night life. I would take them to a Dallas Cowboy’s game or Dallas Mavericks Game my two favorite sports. I would defiantly spend a day to to exploring downtown Dallas it is fun just to walk around and explore seeing the skyline light up at night is one of my favorite sights to see.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents deserve all the recognition in my life journey. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be who l am or where I am today. They taught me the value of hard work, the importance of chasing your dreams, and to never give up no matter what. They’ve always led by example and showed me what it means to give your all in life, and that mindset has shaped everything I do.
