We had the good fortune of connecting with Sweat Project, owned and operated by Sarah McLain, Sara McCarroll, and Kristen Weinheimer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sweat Project, what do you attribute your success to?
One of the most important factors behind our success is our foundation of community. We strive to create community in a fitness environment that is positive and everyone feels welcome. We want every member to feel seen and successful. It is a culture that we hope is synonymous with the Sweat Project brand.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Sweat Project is the product of three women with the desire to serve others through fitness. We met in 2016 as coworkers and quickly learned that each has the same passion for fitness. As the world we knew was changing, we found ourselves sitting outside a coffee shop and sharing our dreams of creating a positive space for our fitness community. We wanted to create an innovative way to meet your fitness goals, bringing multiple formats together to meet everyone’s needs.  Our classes are Sweat60, a cross training format done in infrared heat, HIITyasa is a infrared heated power flow yoga concept unlike anything anyone has tried, and TurnUp is our only non heated format that is a Dance Fitness concept.

The support from friends and family confirmed that this path was undeniable and divine. Our goal is to create a space for members to feel challenged and empowered, while creating community and connection. From our collaboration of experience, passion, and strengths we created Sweat Project.

The path to get here is full of long days and late nights. Along the way we have learned to not take “no” for an answer, there is always a solution. We have continued to push forward even if the path is new.
