We had the good fortune of connecting with Sara Drehobl and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sara, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Authenticity – plain and simple. I am the same girl on the court as I am off the court and you always know exactly where you stand with me! Whether you met me 20 years ago or today you’ll feel like we have never skipped a beat or you’ve known me your whole life! I have found when I am truly in alignment and being myself is when my business thrives the most! People want to have FUN, sometimes they just need permission to do so and I am here to be that gatekeeper everyday of the week and twice on Tuesdays!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a Realtor here in DFW you have to do something to set you apart from the thousands upon thousands of Agents in the area. For me it starts with service, it is incredibly important to me that my Clients know without a shadow of a doubt I have their back and I am ready to serve! The other area that I am non negotiable about is FUN! Purchasing a home can be a crazy experience. From locating a property to trying to win in this market can be a very stressful process with the wrong team in place. I have found I balance out my Client’s stress well with keeping a light hearted demeanor but also being able to negotiate for my folks best interest in a transaction. Every single person involved in the transaction should be looked at as a member of your team as we all have the same goal at the end of the day!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Fort Worth has some of the BEST hangouts in all of Texas if you ask me. We’d start off for lunch at my favorite spot, Righteous Foods for some Bison Asada Tacos and an Organic Mint Limeade. We’d follow that up with some shopping at Winton and Waits on South Main and a popsicle from Alchemy Pops! On Day 2 we’d venture down to the Stockyards to visit Cattleman’s Steakhouse, do some boot scooting at Billy Bobs and check out the new John Wayne museum followed by an overnight at the Stockyards newest hotel, Hotel Drover. Lunch on Joe T’s Patio and dinner on Reata’s Rooftop with a show at Four Day Weekend would make a great way to put a wrap on the ultimate Fort Worth Weekend!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Where to start, so many great people and organizations have shined their flashlights down my path so I could reach where I am. Right now, I would have to say my Broker and Friend, Matt Lewis. This man and his family are some of the most selfless people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He has high fived me and encouraged me while I’ve been up but he has also helped me learn and grow and lifted me up when I’ve been down. I have leveled up my business, my relationships and my life simply by being an Agent at League Real Estate and mentoring under Matt.
