Meet Samantha Washburn | Wedding and Birth Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Samantha Washburn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Samantha, what do you attribute your success to?
Consistency and growth. I feel like I am always learning and always growing. Being consistent in all aspects of my brand and business. I think having the mind set of always knowing I can do better, I can be better; has been a key factor in the success of my brand. I also think that having an open mind and being the most personable person I can be around my clients has helped out a lot. I look at my clients as friends and I want to be able to have great conversations with them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a wedding and birth photographer I get to be beside my clients through the most important steps of their lives. I get to experience the joy and happiness with them when they say I do and when they welcome that new little one into their homes. It’s such a heart warming journey and I am honored to get to walk beside them during these times. I love getting to know my couples and families on a deeper level and being able to be on ‘Christmas card’ status with them! My motto is that my clients always turn to friends and family!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would certainly take them on a tour of Fort Worth; the Kimbell, the Stockyards, Water Gardens and all the traditional Fort Worth spots. We would certainly hit up my favorite coffee shop, Crude and eat at Rogers Roundhouse. Maybe even stopping by one of the many pizza joints around town and then hitting up a park around the Trinity River so we can just relax and get some sun

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and closest friends have been such a great support system through my journey of having my own business and growing it over the years. They have been patient and loving. They always are asking how life is going and being a source of encouragement with every step I take through business.
